Welcome to the 2nd International Camelina Conference – ICC Málaga 2026
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the second edition of the International Camelina Conference, which will take place in Málaga, Spain, from July 10 to 11, 2026.
As camelina continues to gain global relevance as a sustainable oilseed crop, this meeting will offer a unique opportunity to explore the latest scientific and technological advances across the entire camelina value chain. The program will bring together leading experts and stakeholders to discuss cutting-edge research and innovation in areas such as genetics, molecular breeding, physiology, biochemistry, environmental plasticity, agronomy, oil quality, and biotechnology and policy.
ICC Málaga 2026 is conceived as an open and inclusive forum, where researchers, breeders, growers, processors, industry representatives and policymakers can share knowledge, foster collaborations, and address the challenges and opportunities surrounding the development of Camelina sativa for food, feed, fuel and industrial applications.
In addition to the scientific content, the meeting will provide an ideal setting to strengthen international partnerships and build new synergies within a multidisciplinary and globally engaged community. We are confident that the vibrant atmosphere of Málaga, combined with excellent facilities and a dynamic scientific agenda, will make this a memorable and inspiring gathering.
We look forward to welcoming you in 2026 for a stimulating conference dedicated to unlocking the full potential of camelina.
