Scientific Communications
Steps to follow
2. Send the abstract of the Communication/Case through the congress website (communications section), abstracts sent by other means will not be accepted.
3. The author responsible for the correspondence will receive a notification about the acceptance or rejection of his/her communication. It will be the obligation of this author to notify the other authors of the communication.
4. Registration of at least one of the authors of the accepted paper is obligatory.
5. The clinical case must be real. Any identifying data of the patient must be eliminated from the images and/or text.
6. Deadline for submission of papers, January 19, 2026 at 23:59h.
Submission guidelines and review process
A. Clinical Cases:
Each clinical case must include an abstract with a maximum of 300 words (including background, description and interest of the case) and be accompanied by 1-2 figures or videos (the most representative ones).
Case review:
Cases will be distributed for selection among the members of the review committee.
After a vote of those registered for the congress, the 3 finalist cases with the highest number of votes will be selected. If the number of voters is less than twice the number of cases, the scientific committee will select the 3 finalists. Among them, the scientific committee will select the best case of the congress.
B. Scientific communications:
Each communication must include an abstract with a maximum of 300 words (including: introduction, objective, material and methods, results and conclusions) and be accompanied by 1 figure or table.
It will be valued that the communication is an original work.
Review of papers:
The communications will be distributed for selection by the evaluation committee. The 3 finalist papers with the highest number of votes will be selected after voting by those registered for the congress. If the number of voters is less than twice the number of papers, the scientific committee will select the 3 finalists. Among them, the scientific committee will select the best paper of the congress.
It is essential to complete all sections of the submission:
TITLE: in capital letters (maximum two lines)
AUTHORS: in lower case, the maximum number of authors is 6 for all categories.
WORK CENTER: indicate the institution and corresponding city of all authors in lower case.
The author responsible for the submission acknowledges that all signatories accept the rules of the call, ratify the content of the communication, approve their participation in the call, and also authorize the SEC Cardiac Imaging Association, the exhibition and publication, in whole or in part, of the abstract, poster and/or corresponding image.
