Student grants

A limited number of student grants will be available to support student participation in the congress.
 
Students wishing to apply for a grant must submit an oral or poster contribution and declare their eligibility at the time of registration.
 
Applicants will be required to complete the registration process with payment pending and are strongly advised not to proceed with payment until the grant decision has been communicated. This will take place before April 15th.
 

Grants will be awarded based on the scientific quality of the student’s contribution, as assessed by the Local Scientific Committee.
 
Students who are awarded a grant will receive a free full registration for the congress. Students who are not selected for a grant will be required to complete the corresponding registration payment by the deadline indicated in the notification.
 

ISPL/ICC Bonus grants

To further enrich the experience of participants attending the ISPL 2026 Congress in Málaga, we are pleased to offer a limited number of ISPL/ICC Bonus Grants. These grants are designed to support selected attendees in extending their stay and participating in the International Camelina Conference (ICC), which will be held immediately after ISPL.

This initiative provides a unique opportunity to engage with a broader scientific community, foster new collaborations, and gain additional insights into emerging topics in plant lipid research and related fields.

What the grant includes

  • Full registration for the ICC
  • Two nights of accommodation at the conference venue

Who can apply
All researchers who have registered for ISPL 2026 are eligible to apply, regardless of career stage or geographical origin.

How applications are evaluated
Applications will be carefully reviewed by the Local Organizing Committee, based on:

  • The applicant’s career stage and scientific trajectory
  • Their contribution to the ICC Congress (e.g., abstract, presentation)
  • The applicant’s access to alternative funding sources
