It is our great pleasure to invite you to the XIV Jornadas de Carbohidratos (Spanish Carbohydrate Meeting), which will take place from September 2nd to 4th, 2026, at the Centro de Investigaciones Científicas Isla de la Cartuja (CICCartuja), in the beautiful city of Seville, Spain. The meeting is organized by the Carbohydrate Group of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (HIC-RSEQ).

This congress will enable to share the latest research and advances into the most cutting-edge areas of glycochemistry, glycobiology and applied glycosciences. The event will cover a wide range of topics including the synthesis of carbohydrates and carbohydrate-based materials, the structural analysis and molecular recognition of carbohydrates, glycobiology and biotechnology applications of carbohydrates. The scientific program will include 3 plenary and 9 keynote lectures, 22 oral and 15 flash presentations and 2 poster sessions, fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas among experts and young researchers alike.

During the meeting we will also have the General Assembly of the Spanish Carbohydrate Group to plan and discuss about future activities.
