The ESSKA Advanced Shoulder Instability Course is designed to provide certified Orthopaedic Surgeons thorough didactic and practical training in challenging disorders of the shoulder from renowned ESSKA-ESA Faculty using state of the art surgical techniques and devices. There are 20 positions available.

Course Objectives

ESSKA ALL about Shoulder Instability Course

Learning objectives:

Understand the different patterns of shoulder instabilities
Learn how to evaluate a patient with shoulder instability
Identify the proper indications for each of the surgical options
Learn OR set-up and management of arthroscopic equipment, focusing on patient positioning and portal placement
Understand the rationale, techniques and risks of soft tissue reconstructions, the Latarjet and other bony augmentation procedures for shoulder instability
