Abstract submission deadline:  March 15th, 2025
Notification of abstract acceptance/refusal: May 5th, 2025
Deadline for registration and payment of registration fee for presenting authors: May 27th, 2025

GUIDELINES

 

  • The presenting author must submit the abstracts. If you wish to change the presenting author after submission, please contact congress-sicot@torrespardo.com, indicating the given name, family name, email address and institution.
     
  • Only electronically submitted abstracts are accepted.
     
  • Abstracts must not exceed 250 words in length.
     
  • Abstracts must be written in English. We highly recommend that the abstract is proofread for spelling and grammar errors by a fluent English speaker before submission. Abstracts written in poor English have less chance of being accepted.
     
  • Authors’ given and family names must be spelled out in full. Please do not use any initials.
     
  • Do NOT use all upper-case letters when entering your abstract.
     
  • The abstract's title or authors' names/affiliations must NOT be inserted in the 'Content' field.
     
  • No graphs, tables, photographs, or slide presentations are accepted.
     
  • Please Submit a Structured Abstract: e.g. Introduction/ Aims & Objectives /Study Design & Methods/Results/Conclusion
     
  • Include Keywords
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The material submitted must not have been published or presented at any national or international meeting before this one.

Abstracts must be written in good and clear English.

Submission of an abstract implies that the presenting author will register for and attend the Congress in Madrid to present the abstract either as a podium presentation or as an e-poster if it is accepted. Certificates of Presentation will not be issued to presenters who do not attend the Congress and give their presentation(s) in the relevant session(s).

The Programme Committee reserves the right to change the topic and the form of presentation (free paper, short free paper, Just-a-Minute (JAM) paper, and e-poster) of the abstract or to reject it.
