Congress Scholarships

Prof. John Lowry Congress Scholarship

Award: 550€
Deadline: 30th June

Designed to support Junior Trainee, Undergraduate Student, and Specialist Trainee Members (within 3 years of specialist qualification) in their participation in the 28th Congress in Athens.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reside and work within the confines of Europe.
  • EACMFS Member for at least one year.
  • Submitted abstract (paper or poster) accepted in the main scientific programme.
  • Award must be used specifically for the Congress Registration Fee.
  • Submit CV highlighting career aspirations and anticipated gains from the Congress.
Important: You may apply for only one scholarship per calendar year (Lowry, Matras, Obwegeser, or Dancygier). Concurrent applications for the Leibinger Award and KLS-Martin Fellowship are permitted.

The Helene Matras Scholarship

Award: 550€
Deadline: 30th June

Designed to support Trainee Members (and specialists within 3 years of qualification) from Eastern European Countries for the 28th Congress in Athens.

ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES:

Albania Armenia Belarus Bosnia & Herzegovina Bulgaria Croatia Estonia Latvia Hungary Kosovo Lithuania North Macedonia Moldova Montenegro Poland Romania Russia Serbia Türkiye Ukraine

REQUIREMENTS:

  • EACMFS Member for at least one year.
  • Submitted abstract (paper/poster) and acceptance copy required.
  • CV submission highlighting contributions and objectives.
  • Award limited to the Congress Registration Fee.
